Moving products and materials in and out of Merchants is easier than you think. We have 40 truck dock doors, which means no waiting to load or unload. Our private rail sidings hold up to 14 cars at a time, and free reciprocal switching connects your shipment to any of the three Class I railroads serving Des Moines. TOFC-COFC and piggyback drayage services are available, too. We operate our own local and short-haul cartage service. A growing number of Merchants customers depend on our local pickup and delivery service, which saves them time, money, and headaches.
